This was not 4chan, this was pure amazing nostalgia. Rareware was the pinnacle, arseface didn't even mention Conkers!

God am I happy for this, these devs make such fun tongue and cheek humour and interesting world's that you just can't stop playing.

I'd think you'd understand nostalgia, you being a GOG elitest.

I wasn't about to type out an Icewind barbarian style monologue of glories for them :p 5 great games was enough, though to be honest I didn't personally like Battletoads.

I still don't recognize pretty much any of those games. Not a clue who these people are, but it's awesome to see KS still working out well every now and then.

Get an emulator and get Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, and Conkers Bad Fur Day.

Have the time of your life! ;D

Edit: And I'd suggest setting up like an xbox 360/one controller to use for the controls, as keyboards arent fun on platformers.

I'd argue the opposite, that controllers aren't fun for platformers

    Wat? Are you insane? O _ o

Controllers are designed for platformers, and keyboard and mouse for fps.

Ah. I'm not a big Nintendo person. Battletoads I only heard of from the 4chan thing.

Nostalgia is a powerful and dangerous feeling. Make things from the past look better than they really were.
Altrough sometimes they really were :D

It is what makes a win for a lot of gaming Kickstarter projects.
Even PA was playing with nostalgia when it started to reference Total Annihilation.

I wish them best of luck !

Totally disagree, keyboard isn't as exact as a joystick when moving around on a platform in a platformer, often times you may need to shuffle around very gently with a keyboard because unlike a joystick a keyboard is a mechanical, not fluid, movement.

I actually prefer a keyboard for Super Meat Boy, but third person platformers definitely work better with a thumb stick controlling the camera.

First person and over-the shoulder games, m+kb. But for anything where the camera and your facing are two different things sticks are the way to go.

I still can't believe Flagship didn't get funded, although thankfully the devs aren't giving up on it...

First person bridge command of an entire fleet- why why why did people not flock to fund them :(

since when did ARMA 2 have an RTS function that wasn't a mod? The map wasn't an RTS function, and even if it was it's not even close to a "realistic" rts.
