Post your ideas for endorsements. Try and keep them serious and on topic. You don't need to specify the exact numbers for the endorsement, just give a basic premise of what it would do. Money Endorsement: Gives a % boost to money gained. Obviously it would be tough to balance, make it too high and its simply going to be a "must have" like the Steel Peel endorsement, but make it too low and the fact you are giving up a chance to have a higher stats than your opponent will outweigh its usefulness. Discount Endorsement: Lowers the cost of hazards by a %. Doesn't affect turret costs or skill purchase costs. Grapple Endorsement: Speeds up how quickly your grapple regenerates after use
I always wanted a grapple endorsement. Probably would become a mandatory must-have for Assassins though.
I agree, I think I'd rather an endorsement that gives you a small boost to the juice generation via bot killing would be a better option than a flat juice boost on respawn. The catch is that Juice is already kinda overpowered right now thanks to assassins killing towers, and then simply juice purchase stacking. This could lead to an even larger increase of juice use. Still I don't think I've EVER seen someone use the current juice endorsement, its simply not cost effective.
This. Oh, and this whole "CREATE AN ENDORSEMENT" idea is pretty lame. Please, let's not ruin a good game here.
I think it's safe to say that this isn't really necessary. Nearly every important aspect of the game already has an endorsement. Of the gameplay that doesn't have them, earning and buying are the biggest, but they prove redundant because the idea of every other endorsement is to make you more efficient at earning cash and, in turn, netting you more cash to spend. As for the graplle endorsement, it is a neat idea, but grapples tend to fall into 3 categories: situational, skill, and Assassin. The first two are unworthy of and already have endorsements already. Making an endorsement that only benefits one class doesn't really make sense, no?
one that let's you use a juice that only lasts half as long an the regular one and only is available after a time period. You wouldn't lose it if you died either. But you would not be able to use real juice. A fair trade IMO.
Some of the current endorsements should be reworked rather than adding new ones. There is already some redundancy Juice - terrible. Doesn't do anything unless you DIE. Accuracy - Simply not as good as RoF. Bad in some cases due to reduced spray area. Criticals - Simply not as good as RoF. RoF - Probably too powerful, especially if the framerate limitations go away Speed - Useless if you pick up speed powerups Armor - Not so much a problem with the endorsement itself, but rather the low base health of some classes that requires them to take armor to not be 1-shot by half the moves in the game Health regen - Decent, but often overlooked because it will rarely help you win a fight Skill recharge - Just about perfect as it is. Fits well with some playstyles, not needed for others Clip size and Reload speed - A bit redundant. Clip size is probably better overall
I was thinking for the next update there would be an added endorsement slot. Not 4 slots for the current endorsements but for a list of novelty endorsements. Such as: Increased taunt speed Faster swap weapon speed Upgraded turrets upgrade faster Faster ejector and annihilator use speed. Things of that nature.
