Some of the seasoned players try to jump into the camera shot so they're freeze-framed near the moneyball or glitchin' inside of the MNC mascot. (Did you know the moneyball can kill you after everything is supposedly already frozen? I'm one of those guys trying to get in the camera shot). Insult to injury? Yeah.

This got me thinking about what happens with the camera at end of game. What it really should do, instead of showing us the various logos again and again, it should show where the game players are frozen. Give everyone some camera time. Often the last few seconds are pretty intense, and the frozen action is sure to show some neat battles playing out, or lets us see who was completely wasting time somewhere they shouldn't have logically been.

tldr?: Camera should pan on players after end of game!

I don't know how difficult it would be to do this, but I love the idea! Maybe even just a sort of flyby over the players to at least get an idea of what was going on at that moment.

I like that idea, the times I'm grappling somebody in the base and it never shows my knee in their face, although I have managed to do the Jet Ski taunt as the ball was destroyed, right next to the ball was a zombie walking Support.

    Ya agreed

At the very least it should just pan around close to the moneyball

I'm tired of seeing the damn logos

My favorite is to open skill pick on the ball right as it ends

You can do this after the game ends too. After a game where I did that some guy said "Why the **** were you picking skills in overtime?"

I completely agree. I've finished many a game mid-grapple, and it would be awesome to actually see this. Even better? Letting the animation finish out as the camera pans around the player.

I love this idea. Do a pan around each player showing what they are doing would be awesome.

My wife and I were talking about this a few days ago. I think every class should have an animation based on whether they won or lost and their class's personality. Then during the end sequence it could so some or all of the characters' reactions to their win or loss.

    That would be bacon!

I'm always tryin to jump right in that end game camera pan too =P

I love tossing a airstrike, bomb, or product grenade at a player _after_ time has ended.. sometimes resulting in a kill. Player pan cams would add to the hilarity of that... imagine it panning to the player who happens to be standing on your bomb and soon as it shows them "boom!"..haha.. it should do a new Mickey Cantor line after that.. "oOOH, THAT was embrassing!" and a new protag =P

My favorite is an end-game flak. The most I've gotten is four kills off of one flak after the game had ended.

Yeah. It's obvious the game is still running post-freeze. I don't know if you can kill someone with a primary weapon, but airstrikes go.

Last night I joined in a game late, and was about to end the game with 0 kills, but an after-the-freeze airstrike killed someone.

The neat thing about that is the final killscreen updates even after the freeze in this case (so instead of going 0 0 0, I went 1 0 0). I was amused when I went to my protag screen and saw that I earned the 'pacifist' protag. Obviously protags are calculated at freeze, and the kill screen itself doesn't freeze.

I had the same thing happen a different time, however almost in reverse: the money I earned moved me to the top position (but person in the #2 position earned MVP protag).

You can kill yourself with an airstrike after the freeze. Throw it after the freeze, and a bit later your controller will vibrate, and you'll take an extra death. Keep hitting the airstrike button and you'll eventually hear your "empty" airstrike noise (thunk thunk thunk).

And a final fun fact - If the annihilator becomes ready after freeze, it'll sometimes out of nowhere say "we've got the annihilator ready!" even though the round is way over.

Too lazy to look in the bugs thread for these (and/or put them there).

You mean to tell me that you guys don't rush to the moneyball when it's a a thread away from death, position yourself where you think the camera will be (it's at an angle), turn around, and taunt so that the camera gets a perfect shot when the moneyball drops?

This is probably my favourite idea ever posted in these forums ever.
Me and a pair of friends got a trio of SMG-taunting snipers running around to moneyball. We almost cried laughing! I'd love to see more of that.
