I don't know if you have any forum members as friends, but playing with them definitely helps me elevate my game...then again, playing against them puts my self esteem in the crapper.. Your best bet is to group up so you are not always playing with randoms.
I am. And I'm ready whenever you are. But...****.. I was playing in a group. My lack of skill made us lose.
Don't let him fool ya! He's actually pretty decent considering his level. Have you All Starred yet, Snack?
Let me tell you a story, I like to call the Grand Adventures of Deadpool FTW After he Came back to This Game After a 3 Month Leave for the Spunky Cola Special: He got roflstomped. He learned. He got roflstomped some more. He learned more. He made friends from the forums and learned. Now, he is everyone's favorite annoying as all hell semi-skilled player. Moral of the story: You will get beat. Learn what the enemy was doing, make friends with people on the forums, and you will do better.
I almost couldnt dissagree more for this game, i havnt seen any player become good, that wasnt good when they first started, i was on GP before lvl 40.
Clearly, you, my friend, have not seen me. I sucked. Badly. Then I slowly got better. And now I am at least semi-average.
Learning the ins and outs of each class takes time. Map knowledge takes time. I used to run Reload Speed, Armour and Juice on my Tank - we were all beginners at one point. In your case, maybe you were born under a double rainbow or a comet of some description? Come to my bosom, neophyte, and I shall make you a fine bearded warrior.
I think overall gaming experience plays a factor into that. Doubt very much this was one of your first games.
Seems like you just need to learn the maps and tactics for each class. You should look at some guides on here. they can be a big help especially for somebody like you who is struggling. Also, watch more Xenonox
Sin talked me into getting this game. I primarily played COD before I tried this game, so naturally I took it in the butt the first few matches. I was so mad that I was failing hard at this game when I was so used to Call of Duty. But, now I've got a few nice streaks under my belt, a bit of map knowledge, and some decent weapon/equipment skillage, and I can honestly say this game is fun now. Like everyone elses cliche advice, keep on playing man.
I used to fall for every ice trap. Now, I've learned to *gasp* look at the ground! That took me a month to get used to alone.
