Economy its too imba!Maybe (yes ?) or maybe (not ?)

    I think the eco for now,is too imba in many facts here.Obvius for now its perfectly normal.
    So Lets just tell to Uber developers what we think for now about all kind economy on PA.

    1 great thing was -metal point spawn locations ,that i think its crucial to this game.
    I personaly think we got too mutch eco needs to make the usual things.
    This just a simple exemples plz expand moore:
    Wy do we need 20 or + advanced power/mass plants to long games?
    Wy we need so many power t1 has i call it for T1 basic armys builds ,or other things, or is it ok like is it now?
    Showld all economy consume a bit moore ,and give an advantage to Advanced power/mass so we don´t need so many power builds that can affect a bether gameplay?
    What does the community thinks on this or other things that wasn´t said yet.
    keep in mind then when we be able to have asteroides to make economy ower planets to make ower own production to send to other planets i totaly agreed with this economy ,so this post might not have any kind off reason ,but for now....


    This not any kind issiu or problem just a discution like any other...

    You can't do more than pure speculation on current economy, we don't have proper planet sizes yet, not all units are implemented yet, and more things.

    So right now, its definitely not imba in any way + if it would be... it would be imba for everyone... so I don't see a problem there.

    They have been periodically rebalancing. This is the first patch with metal spots.
    Of course it was gonna get imbalanced, but also we got used to being spoon fed out metal by just making them anywhere.
    This was bound to happen but for the right reasons:
    early builds
    -build anywhere so that game can just be played and combat can be looked at first
    -metal point spawn locations could be sorted (it requires a portion of the procedural planet building process and can be wonky in early builds)
    -it was easier to balance buildings that provide resources early on than balance both their output and physical distribution on the map

    current build
    -combat more stable and needing less attention
    -can focus on econ balances as well as map generation balances (this includes player spawns)

    future builds
    -with each new feature econ will destabalize and require rebalance

    Econ will always need rebalancing until we can all stand back and look at the game as a whole and say "It is done"

    It is alpha, basically everything is imbalanced. I mean the current winning tactic in the game is to only build tanks. They can shoot down fragile air units, travel under water, and the only counter is arty... and even then without tanks protecting that you're kinda SOL... so yeah. Once the game is feature complete we should start talking about balance in depth.
