Early Backer Upgrades

Hey folks - We just got our early backer upgrades online. Keep in mind - if you're already at the $90+ level, there's not much reason to upgrade. The main upgrades are for $20 - $50.

Upgrades are only valid from the $15 to $140, as the $150 level already includes everything, and more, that you would get with the Cosmic edition as a pre-order.

I know some of you have been waiting to upgrade, and here it is.

You will notice the upgrade options are limited to the current offerings. The majorly discounted upgrades did end on December 31st, 2012. But as early backers, you do get discounts on these upgrades, which will allow you to get beta or alpha access for about the same price as you would if you had early backed it. The downside, is you don't get every goody that was available.

I'll happily explain this later in more detail if people want, but just wanted to let you all know first so if some of you are eager, you can go check it out!

If your at 90 bucks, theres almost no reason to do any upgrades...

They should alteast include something thats worthwhile to upgrade. Tshirts and naming a planet. Whooo. No new commanders, or anything

we get the delta for way cheaper...

I just upgraded my early-backing order from "Combat" to "Galactic" level to get Alpha and Beta access.
When I chose my upgrade the description only mentioned Alpha, but not Beta. I assume Beta is automatically included.

Is my assumption correct?
If so clarification on the order page would be nice, either in order description or a "includes lower pre-order tiers".

updated from warfare to galactic edition. Happy to have the alpha access sorry for asking this, but do I get the alpha commander as well? it is not mentioned in the package description.

Im curious, how much more you got money from preorders & upgrades? It is an amount that made possible to do something more, fancy and amazing?

It seems there is no name and t-shirt information I entered, is it okay to leave them for now?
Will I be able change the name in credit and t-shirt size in upgrade page in future?

Okay, so I went for a 100 tier + a beta key + a retail key. This is what I see when I go to the early backer upgrade page:

So what is that page/"upgrade" option about? And let's say I wanted to upgrade that to 2x beta key instead of beta + retail? How do I do that?

Hm. So if you're already at the 150$ level, upgrading for 30$ nets you a printed copy of the artbook? Am I missing anything?

I just saw at kickstarter that everyone who pledged 90,- would get the delta commander. I pledged 50,- as an early backer and now I increased to 90,- / Galactic edition. Do I get the alpha and delta as well?... or did I had to pledge 90,- as an early backer to get them... I really want both commanders :/

(please don't let THEM be "the downside, is you don't get every goody that was available".

Firstly, i'm new to forums and all this so please excuse me if this isn't the right place to ask the question! I missed out on the Kickstarter backing, but have preordered the combat edition - i'd really like to upgrade...

My question is: is there a possiblilty of a digital limited edition? besides the soundtrack, I REALLY want to get all the unique commanders - theta; progenitor; alpha; delta etc, but i'm not bothered about all the physical stuff in the cosmic limited preorder. or can i assume these commanders will be made available as dlc at a future time? Thanks!!!

That should be the only thing that will be added, yes.

Seems kinda expensive at first maybe, but during the kickstarter, the cheapest level for the printed artbook was at 250$... a whopping 100$ more than the 150$ level.
Of course, the 250$ tier specifies that it's a signed copy of the artbook and the tier also included the "Exclusive full size poster signed by the team." And to addition that the game box was signed as well. I don't know, pricing of these stuff are kinda hard. I guess that the developers hands will be sore of all the signing... And they need their hands

Of course, a lot of people are willing to pay a bit overprice for merchandice like this so that the Uber-commanders get more money to put into the game... to make it more awesome. :lol:

Seems about fair... A bit confusing that early "kickstart-era" backers upgrades to the "pre-order tiers" instead of the "kickstart tiers"... :?

Edit: but it seems that the case is that you're are limited to upgrading to the pre-order tiers... Maybe the upgrade page should be clearer on what one will actually get when upgrading...

I can't upgrade I have on my account exactly 170 zł, and that is according to paypal (* 0,3011) ~ 51$. Paypal goes for "loading" and page goes back to store, and nothing happens. Should there be some message like "no money on account" etc?

Edit v. 1.2. I see on that page that I have alpha key, but theres nothing about beta. Its obvious that it is there, but for sure, this is typo?

And, now I have 2 items on account, retail and that upgrade. Its seperate somehow or what?

Aaand, as an backer, will I be in Credits? I saw photo where you had to type your username for credits, (when buying Cosmic Edition?) will I have this option, or you will use my username in game? Or something else? Im lost here.

Damn this comes around when im struggling for money :/ makes me sad seems i wont be going into Alpha after all

While I dont really plan to upgrade my pledge any further I just wanted to check out what I actually could upgrade to.
Turns out I cannot upgrade to anything. https://store.uberent.com/Store/Upgrade?titleId=4 returns a blank page in Firefox and "a page cannot be found" in Opera. I probably exceed the upgrading options since I already pledge on the 250$ level, but you could have at least added a small message: "You cannot upgrade further" xD

Yeah, same for me. What irritates me is that we already get a t-shirt at the $110 level. So, do we get two now? I find it a little bit strange. I would be more interested in a signed artbook than another T-shirt.
