So ye dhw is starting in a couple of days so let's have a thread where all the esport nerds can get hyped. Personally I can't wait for the QL tournament. Arguably the best lineup quake has ever seen.

I think it would've been his chance to finally do well against an amazing lineup of opponents (even though admittedly that doesn't seem very likely). And I just thought the picture was pretty funny in this context, so I had to take this opportunity to post it.

That's a major disappointment. I wouldn't say that the entire tournament is ruined, but the entire tournament is ruined.

So, to the tremendous amounts of people who responded to this so far: Are there any favorites/people you are rooting for?
I really can't decide due to the sheer number of interesting players to watch and the lack of cooller(who actually still only would've been one of many players I'd like to see doing well).

I'd like to see fraze do well and I'd love to see ph4ntom stomp or get stomped (both would lead to some interesting drama). Rapha's shape looked really strong vs cooller last sunday, but cypher has been looking equally impressive lately. It will interesting to see how evil does; if rapha/cypher have found the way to beat him. Av3k is av3k and therefore it's impossible not to cheer for him (zoot and mexican guy (c) av<3k). Ye qlranks was doing a bootleg stream so they got shutdown I think. Too bad, I kinda liked the raw uncasted quake thing.

I actually enjoy the casts (guess I'm not on your level yet ), it's just annoying having to wait ages for the next game to start and miss so many others in the meantime. Looking at the beachballs on stage can only entertain me for so long...
