does taunting piss you off?

i gotta admit, when people kill me and than taunt right after it pisses me off. but not with everyone. the only one that realy made me rage was the assault. especially when the guy just spawn kills over and over (*****)

I like it, personally. If a game allows you to perform a scripted taunt, it should be used. The fact that it also generates money is definitely a plus

yeah but basically i only really got mad at an assault noob that kept spawn killing me from is hiding spot and taunting everytime. he was just being an unskilled bitch.

Depends on the situation. If a Pro and I were battling it out and I happen to make it out alive I will taunt, as a way to say "nice battle." If I kill a guy who had no chance I just keep on my merry way. The "elites" that think they are the best in MNC will taunt by meleeing the air though. I guess they can't waste time by standing still and taunting.

The fact that earning money from taunting after a kill can make some players spam it too much. I will admit when I first started playing MNC I taunted after every kill and assist, I was money hungry.

when i play gunner i do it to help get me to dual mini's asap....but thats about it, unless someone calls me a hacker or something then i do it to make them rage

In other games, yes. In this game, no.

The taunt is there to benefit you.

Now, if someone did the equivalent of t-bagging me. Sure, I suppose I'd be more motivated to ravage said person.

I only see their foot when they do so, no.

Some people taunt after every kill and that kind of gets annoying when they're on my team. Like, "Hey, nice taunt. Maybe kill these bots the guy was escorting? No? Thanks for helping out!"

I'm on lvl. 77 and I still don't know how to taunt

Seeing others taunt when they kill me pisses me off to no end, but it doesn't stop me from doing the same. Money is power.

its kind of annoying, but its really just more fuel to kill the guy who did it.

Grenade III. I'm playing as a support, and Mickey announces that the annihilator is ready to go. I activate it, and take a jump pad back to the outer ring.

I got two annihilator kills thereafter. I promptly pulled out my shotgun and taunted. Boy did it make me laugh. Might've made those two dudes mad, but I don't think I'd have been mad if I were on the receiving end of that. It's too comical of a taunt.

IMHO, being pissed off because someone taunts you in a video game in which taunting is an important game mechanic that allows you to upgrade your character faster = being waaaaaay too emotionally invested in a video game. Solution: Get a sexy girlfriend. Alternate solution: get a sexier girlfriend. Alternate alternate solution: attend an anger management class.

Yeah, I understand, sometimes the game can get frustrating, but if it's not actually fun for you, why are you raising your blood pressure and shortening your life over it?

I taunt every chance I get. Most of the time, it's nothing personal. I'm just making money. If all hell is breaking loose around me, I won't try a taunt. I play to win.

Now, If I kill you and you see me shotgunning the hell out of your dissolving corpse, well that was personal.

Another note. Maybe I'm just old school, maybe my sense of honor is too strong for MNC. I don't spawn kill. I know "kick em when they're down", but I just can't bring myself to do it. When I see anyone taunting while spawn killing, that pisses me off.

It onll pisses me off when they do it all the time or right after i had a nice battle and low on health.. I only taunt when 1: I had an epic battle with somone and win. 2: I need dual miniguns! and 3: againt a rival or somone who taunted me after they kill me with a tiniest sliver of healt after an assassin face grapples me.

It only pisses me off when I'm fighting a guy and am about to kill him, and his teammate comes out of nowhere (from the middle on Grenade 3, for example) and kills me in a second because I was almost dead, then taunts. Basically people taunting for kills they didn't really deserve.
