I'm not sure how that'd be useful in an industrial environment to be honest, seems like you'd rather have machines that do very specific tasks very efficiently rather than one that can manage to do a bunch of different things. Interesting but I don't think there is as much use for it as one might think. Mike
It was an article on learning methods for the arm, not the arm iteself. They even say the arm was launched in 2010 in the article. Doctor Octopus still has to wait a few years I'm afraid.
