what would be funny is once the usual crowd fades away from this game that it has some revival of interest and theres a new wave of stompers private-goers and **** talkers. months into the future it would be an entertaining read for us and be like, "hey we used to do that"

so does the private/competitive crowd of old days get hall of fame inductees and a ceremony? ballots and such? livestream inductation speeches. the opportunity to retire and un-retire, i mean i did make a pretty nice living playing MNC with over $20 million in lifetime earnings but i might get tired of just being an analyst

I would love, as always, for players to learn some decent tricks. In any game I play, I love seeing a person pick up skills.

In Street Fighter, I love learning new styles and effective approaches to playing off other players, as well as looking up strings of attacks online.

In Modern Warfare 2, nearly every s&d strategy I have, I have picked up from other players I watched play as I sat in the "waiting for next round to respawn" screen.

In Monday Night Combat, I actually did a bit of both. I came here to see how others play so well, and I watched others play their class in-game, until I found my own effective flow.

Question: Why do the "snipers smg'ing bots all game" not picking up on other snipers blasting bots fullscreen with explosive round headshots, and then juice-clearing enemies with smg.

I feel like people we would play against would just watch us do work in a pub and then try and take something from our playstyle. It was great in September seeing people actually attempting to claw on gunners and somewhat tank. Even people pub assaulting were showing some kind of competence. However, idk i came back yesterday and today and like chron felt rusty as ****, and proceeded to destroy the opposition with the gunner going 40+ kills every game. Even today with Gunked i felt worse then yesterday and pulled a 33-3.

It's what Crimson said, people playing are just regressing in skill level, a new era is happening, I even saw 2 assaults yesterday just fly towards the enemy moneyball and try and shoot it down. :|

I pretty sure i know whats going to happen, which is more people will start playing objective and tap the moneyball, instead of putting up massive kill scores because the people who did are gone so they lean towards the class which is played the most by noobies which is the assassin.

hmmm that is a possibility...or there will be facegrapples a plenty!

you are sooo tired Crimson, quit biting off of everyone, say something original for once. Did I say your name anywhere in my post? No, but you got all offended, so you definately care. Just because I wonder why some people on here feel the need to build themselves up by knocking others down, i mean, trash talking non-prestige people because they don't yet fully understand the game. How about helping them instead of laughing at them.

I try to help people as long as they're willing to accept it. Some people just won't listen and that's fine. But Tables, you can't deny that watching an Assault die by rocket fire while repeatedly trying to shoot your ball down is god damn hilarious.

I went back and read this entire topic and really didn't see anyone making fun of new players. I did see people pointing out the fact that there are very few people currently playing this game that show any competency, even playing slayer type classes. A few months ago there were plenty of non all starred players that were at least able to somewhat hang with the veterans.
