Look, I'm aware I've been a pain in the a$$ the past few hours and I'll stop now. Here's a legit concern for Uber with the recent release:

Next time DLC comes out, dont combine or release it with coinciding patches that nerf the mechanics of something to the point of game/style change. Release those patches earlier if possible and seperately. If patches are needed for the DLC to work then seperate it as well so the DLC only contains the required patches and not gameplay mechanic patches. That way if something changes the customer knows it before the DLC. I point this out because if it had been Paid DLC and this type of drastic change occurred I'd be pissed off, turn the game off, and never return my business. The model of this company is unique, it's employee's have been great and it's obvious there are many juggling acts to perform. I honestly think this is a matter you should consider in the future because if it ever went sour on paid content it could affect reputation and return business alike. I also realize that the whole MS Update/Cert process really wrecks havock on things, but it should still be avoidable.

That said,.. I'll go back to being myself and refrain from making any more PINTA posts... time to go out and drink anyways.

DLC needs a patch to work unless it's already had a DLC patch before the DLC arrives.

It's cheaper and memory saving if they bundle all the stuff into one patch instead of multiple. Also faster if it's all at the same time.

And MS charges them if they do too many patches I believe.

so again, its not uber's fault. its those jerks that would let black ops get away with any damn thing they want, but they stick it to the better games if they are made by newer developers.

boycott microsoft exclusive releases in the future. nuff said.

Indeed, A lot of people I know just moved to PC or PS3.

I thought the Xbox Live subscription fee was to cover all the costs of this crap but no I was wrong, Microsoft gives developers a hard time every time they reach out to their community while at the same time stealing our money.

Yes, If they do regular updates.

That's why MMO's have subscription fee's, To cover the costs of weekly updates.

Although I'm not to sure if it's true, Valve said if they did regular updates to TF2 for Xbox like they do for PC it would cost them big money. (Knowing Microsoft and their money fetish, It's probably true)

I'm not a Dev so I can only go by what we hear from the Devs of Xbox games.
