2-3 of those max size planets mang....

Edit: Though seriously the editor really shows off the engine and the potential yet to be seen from it.

I'm wondering how lower end computers will be able to run >50 radius planets. I still would not mind a reduction of 40-50%. Because the scale as it is right now is still not proportional to the scenery.

Well changing the scenery scale alone would make for much less work I think.

Also most of the work for PA is off-loading to the Uber servers, like an mmo. A computer with any graphics card from the last 3-4 years should be able to play PA fine, with around 4gigs (min) of ram anyway. Of course who knows the potential of the engine has no real upper limit, well it does but not anything practical.

Unless you want to play Offline/Local.

If you want to do that then you'd better make sure your setup can handle it. Thats the trade off for having PA's infrastructure,

I'm well aware myself but I'm posting for the benefit of those that don't already know/realize that aspect and there are many who might be reading these threads that don't know of it.

No it doesn't, it makes no mention of the Offline/Local resources PA would require in place of the Servers used for Online play.

If people can't figure it out from there, its not my duty to explain it to them. PA requires servers to play, so if you want to play it without those servers you then need a setup that can do the job. I don't really see a point in trying explain every obvious fact just because someone who isn't familiar with how PA is going to work might get confused, if they don't know that much, they're going to be confused anyway and if they want they can ask for information and be pointed to the many threads and FAQs.
