I get this bug nearly every game I play in these days. Only fix i can find is to restart the game. This is a video of how it looks. As you can see the commander and ants have no strategic icons and the rest of the units do. Dont't think this affects every player or i'm sure the bug tracker would have much more reports. Could this be on my side with mods etc or is it more than likely server side?
I'm getting this too. It seems fine first, until I crashed and reconnected. Then suddenly random strat icons seem to be missing. A few weeks back I had it way worse, only factories and power plants showed up. I always think this is fixed when it doesn't happen in a few games on a new build, but then it starts again. I don't know what's causing this.
It is very unlikely that this is server side, why would the server care about your icons? It should not. Try to disable all your mods if you think one might cause it.
Ah ok thanks, I think brianpurkiss is a mac user too and his disappear also. I'm windows so this probably doesnt solve too much . Turned off all mods and still persists. Ui debugger shows no errors. I'm lost.
