I hope there dont will be a free to live deplomacy As kind of an rts i like to see presetted teams. The development shown their opponion?
Idk, I would like it as a game option. I talked about it in another thread too, about Free For All games. I discussed how even if there isn't a "teaming" system, there still might be players teaming up unofficially. The only difference would be "diplomacy" would mean two teams could both be victorious at the end, while "no diplomacy" means either at the end or by means of sabotage midgame one cooperative player must eventually take out another cooperative player. Another thing was "what if one player defeats another"? If one player is defeated, would he be allowed to choose to self destruct his whole base and army whenever he realizes he is losing, and/or would he be allowed to join his enemy and even though it counts as a loss he can continue fighting for his enemy or simply surrender power of his army to his enemy? OBVIOUSLY, the option is added by default to fight to the end until the enemy forcefully destroys every last unit of yours.
I imagine they will make it optional whether to lock teams or not, allowing you to either pre-set fixed teams or simply change them while playing. I, for one, like to be able to backstab allies.
I like the option to switch sides. I also like the option to switch teams. If the following diplomatic game modes were provided that would be great: FFA - locked out of teams Teams - locked in teams FFA Teams (2v2v2v2, etc.) - locked in teams Diplomacy - may ally with others... may have mixed alliances (Joe can ally with Phill and Tommy, but Tommy and Phill don't have to be allied)
