DEVS: the gunner deploy thing

what are the solar panel looking things on his back when he deploys?

I always assumed they were some sort of badass heatsink to keep his gun cool.

They were originally rockets that shoot out but it didn't work so well and then we discussed them being boomboxes that would play music when he deployed but thought that would get old. Right now they're just stabilizers and heatsinks. The main reason we designed those are for silhouette changes so you can tell at a distance that a Gunner is deployed or not.

Make them into Toasters!

Boombox sounds cool but I guess it would get old.

Boomboxes would have been awesome and would have never got old. At least you would know when a Gunner died. lol

Or bullets that taste like bacon flavored doughnuts so those poor bots and pros have something tasty ripping them apart.

Gunner boombox should be an Allstar reward. Along with turrets being spelled turrents ingame and a mohawk for the Tank.

If you were putting a song in you should get the guys who made those songs for Comic Jumper and Splosion Man. :lol:

i should immediately, starting now, mute people who tell me i should go all star if i dont wana. i mean if im lvl 99 and havent, that means i dont wana.

but alas, that means ill never be as good as those prodigies who had to earn their guns over and over again

some challenge! the ump45 with lightweight marathon is a default class. its the only thing they are going to use anyway. even if they got every single gun and attachment in the game, every lvl 70 at every prestige is going to use the ump45...

black ops made their spawns horrible and their smgs unbalanced too. completely makes all the "tactical" stuff they added useless. decoy grenades, cool, i can make gunfire at A while i plant a bomb at B by myself! but im never going to win a gunfight, so this is worthless. oh, but i can put a tiny camera in the corner when i plant. i can run far away and shoot the guy with a sniper when he defuses. doesnt matter, the sniper takes 6406834 shots, and once i only hurt them with the first 3 shots, they are going to shoot across the map and peg me in my toe with the uber smg, killing me instantly.

they released the game, and in 6 hours of their release time in their first timezone, they had to make plans in the next few days to patch a buff to the sniper damage. THATS RIDICULOUS, 6 hours has to be a record for needing to patch a game after release...

I'm pretty sure that going "All-Star" mode isn't a choice. It happens when it happens.

if that happens, ill be wondering if its really not a good idea to get black ops. and i know that game sucks in advance.

? <- this is not worth my time. playing the game like i know what im doing, and not getting angry at not having things i know are in the game but i dont have yet and im having to play against other that do have it, is worth my time.

but i purposely muted myself because i want to be able to say that i got so angry that i muted everyone in the lobby. i feel after all star mode that im going to get lots of use out of it.

The only reason why I wanted "All-Star" was so my Lifetime Earnings bar at the end of every match has somewhere to go. I just like to level up. I really couldn't tell you why. It also makes seeing how long someone has been playing much easier. There are way too many 99's out there right now, and some of them that I have run into are just plain AWFUL.

Why does it seem that in a lot of threads, Call of Duty is always mentioned? And by the way, Black Ops is the best game yet, very well balanced.
Rockets should totally be added as a lvl 4 upgrade! Cost 800 to buy. But then everything would have to get lvl 4 upgrades, and that would take forever to do probably, and then an update probably wouldn't come out for even longer.

It's because BroTranquilty has a vendetta against the series. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
