Destructible moon, little asteroid ?

    What i mean in the title is ; We will be able to build bases, reactor on asteroid that can maybe put out a planet, but can we just cribble a moon and make more craters also launching small rock to a planet i mean etablishing base and reactor on a small asteroid ?

    I think he is talking about making small bases on moons and asteroids and avoiding making a base on the planet below. Like laying siege to a planet I think. This is actually something I would really like to see.
