I know that teamwork is integral in this game but I cannot accurately define it in this game.

I am thankful when it is there and I know that it makes matches easier but I can't tell you exactly what it is.

When your team all helps each other out with the same attacks. One person can kill a turret, but 3 people working on a turret can kill that turret no questions asked and block anyone counter-attacking or even leaving base from that side. One person can destroy a moneyball in 20 seconds, but 6 can kill it near-instantly reguardless of enemy resistance. One gunner can mop up any enemy, but a gunner with support leashes will mop up every enemy at once without losing.

The reason I ask is that I had the thought that voice chat would make more teamwork possible but then what kind of maneuvers define teamwork. What would I tell my team in order to keep the push going?

Sometimes it's as simple as saying "someone take out their sniper" or "I'm pushing right lane, need some help."
Just communicating what's going on can often make a massive difference.
People will often follow someone into a push that they'd never make themselves. All they need is a leader to tell them to.

Generally, I'd say teamwork can be seen when you have multiple people working for the same goal together.

When a Support heals you when your nearly dead instead of sticking to his Firebase. And my favourite moment of teamwork, when a full health Tank jumped infront of me when I nearly died taking gunner fire. I could of kissed him, should of added him actually. I miss that guy.

It's obvious stuff really take fire for people nearly dead, heal everything, build 'USEFUL' turrets, and above all escort bots instead of turning every pro encounter into a grudge match.

Teamwork = 6 players play to win

Basically, what makes it better than a divided team, is that 6 players using teamwork will all help each other in fights and push the same area of the map, whereas 6 divided players will all try to do their own goal by themselves (and meet against 2 enemies and lose almost every time).

See the point? A team that cooperates gets more firepower, wrecks turrets faster and easier with less resistance, pushes bots more safely, heals each other to keep us on the field longer and with less resistance... A team that doesn't gets into one fight, either wins or loses, and runs away afterwards to pick another, and doesn't get anything accomplished against anything more than 1 person by themselves.

It's funny that Bro thinks "play to win" means something different than "kill the other team together".
It means more than that FYI.

I had a good game just now where our team was made up of one support, 2 assaults, a gunner and an assassin and I decided to go assassin just cause.

I started trying to take out the rocket turret to the right of the opposing moneyball and the entire team stopped what they were doing to help me shoot down the turret. The concentrated fire shut down their turrets fast.

I find teamwork kicks in when people call out whats happening on other lanes.

I have seen matches go where each team pushes opposite lanes, both moneyballs drop and its a race to take them out.

When in that scenario 1 or 2 people could have delayed the other push while the rest of your team continues to march to the money ball.

So i think teamwork is keeping everyone aware of the battlefield.

    Here's a simple one.

So your moneyball doesn't fall down, build turrets if you see a nub available. Doesn't matter if you're saving money for juice at overtime if they are about to break our perimeter now.

Torrents have no relevance if they are playing correct buying torrents is a waste of time its best to focus on the players and bots. Teamwork in this game is hard to do you need to know when to do things and when not to such as juicing as a team and pushing as a team.

The problem is, like this whole thread is about, no one plays correctly. Maybe we at the forums know how to play, but I think I've played with... two of you since I joined. The rest are noobs who are still trying this as a cartoony CoD and are just gunning for kills.

And if that's your thing, go for it.

but if the moneyball is about to be breached, and you're a Sniper who's trying to hold off a stream of Bots... Better to throw up the turret to give yourself time.

We can talk about the correct way of playing all day. And I would love to if it would do anything. But like most of us complain about every day, we're usually saddled with noobs who don't do their jobs. So, yeah, I'd like to have some defense instead of my money ball down and four to five teammates on one side leaving me to waste my money to throw up some turrets and try to stem the tide.

Teamwork is when you never have to do anything but what your class is meant for.

Are all these quotes going to appear on some little heart shaped sweets or on valentines day cards with 2 cartoony MNC characters instead of the little cartoon boy and girl (everyone must have seen those cheesy "love is..." cards right?)?

In fact: Uber! Do it! do it now!
