So as I was going to sleep last night I had this idea that seemed good at the time.. ideas always seem better right before you fall asleep.

For those of us that used to play D&D games like Neverwinter Nights.. remember building your character and having the extra points to put towards charisma, strength, dexterity, etc? What about a mod that added that idea to PA:TITANS? Before a game you would have let's say 5 points to assign any way you liked.. Say every unit had a range, health, speed, and damage modifier.. and you had 5 points only to use as you pleased, but no one else would know what you buffed, nor would you know what they buffed. You could go nuts and +5 on tank damage but then that would be all 5 points. You could +1 to the range of 5 units.. or maybe +2 to the damage of 2 units and +1 to the health of one. It would add a huge unknown to each game.

This would possibly be interesting to people that felt certain units were under powered.. you have 5 points.. beef it up.

    Thoughts?

Technically speaking, runtime unit modification is not possible in multiplayer. It might be possible with an epic effort to merge GW and multiplayer into a custom server. Until then the only thing that might work is to generate every possible resulting unit and select them by build bar code.

Shame, because it sounds like fun game mode.
