Hello everybody, I'd like to introduce an idea that could very well change the way MNC is played and add much more customizable content to the game itself. Customizable skills. What do you mean by customiable skills? By customiable skills, I am referring to the skills that you can buy. As they stand, they are always the same depending on level (i.e; The charge skill gaining a grapple at level 3 but at lvl. 1 and 2 it's just a charge) This suggestion is meant to change that, and make you have to analyze opposing pros skills. So, get on with it! What do you mean by customizing!? You know when you're choosing skills/picking a class it'll tell you you're Offense Defense and specialty? I intend to add this to the customization screen, or 'Locker Room'. Each skill for each class will be perfectly balanced, in the middle. This is it's neutral state, as we know the abilities today. But what if we want a dash with a faster run but slower recharge? Increase offense and lower specialty. What would each catergory do? And could skills as a whole be altered or changed? To answer the first question, Offense would increase and exaggerate the power, of the skill you increase. (For instance, Full offense flak would deal more damage) This is not without drawbacks, though. It would require you tol lower the other skills traits. Specialty would increase or decrease your cooldown speed, allowing you to either use abilities like bomb for their power, or their denial ability due to it's spamability. Defense would increase things like knockback, or during a charge, dash and grapple further decrease damage taken (this idea is unrefined) To answer the second question, yes, skills would be slightly altered. For instance, the Assault and full offense and flat defnse would cause a tackle charge that deals 50 more damge and has a charge that lowers your recovery time but can be used as a separate attack. This is the end of my suggestion as it stands now, it is very open to suggestion, because it certainly needs some modifications. Please discuss and help this idea, because I think it would be good for mod tools if anything.

Define 50%. I only maybe referenced 1/2 of one of 6 of your guesses. That was the second half of my post. I'd say you were 10% right. I was just showing them the conversation we had, you know, a LONG time ago. Wasn't nothing about being better (never really said I was leagues better), wasn't nothing about Over 9000 or Street Fighter, and I WAS Funny/Witty, so I am pretty sure you lost. Also... Yay! I Win!
My suggestion is slightly different, because it would be out of game branching, but yeah, that's idea. Also, I was about to tell him 10%.

Yea this. Even if those reasons were only contained in the bottom half of his post, that still makes it 50%, seeing as their positioning has no relevance...
actually, 50% is a pretty solid value, which i don't see a need for definition anyways, this idea would work, but it needs a lot more thought put into it. do we have enough variations for all skills? will those variations work well with existing gameplay. and IF the content of this idea works, i'd like these customizations to be purchased with cash , maybe buying some sort of drugs or some equipment mods etc. that would make sense in a future where all pros use performance enhancing products
Yes, this idea is pretty awesome, and I did come in saying it needed a lot of refinements to this idea, but further in your post you had mentioned more than customizable skills. Customizable weapons. I was thinking of posting this as a suggestion, too but it was too unrefined and was hoping it would actually become another topic to elaborate on. /Back on topic. I think that at some point I'm going to make a list of exactly what maxing/balancing the skills points would do. (I believe a more elaborate explanation of the actually points would be good, too.) But yes, they should be able to purchased.
Better question: Why even post directly at me, when all I did was give helpful links to the PC community reguarding that this idea WAS DESIGNED INTO THE GAME BEFORE FIRST RELEASED, AND SCRAPPED. I thought it would help for them to know, so they understand and talk to the devs more informatively.

oh, what i meant with "equipment mods" is mostly for the skills, like upgrading the assault jetpack, assassin shoes etc provided by other companies we haven't heard yet (since the interview on nightmare mode impressed me with how rich the MNC world actually is)
