Much of it sounds good. I don't know about getting rid of the endorsements, and how would reduced juice work?

I'm surprised they never added something like this. Most games with private servers at least give you the ability to customize match settings.

I'd settle for just being able to host myself. That and too many custom match settings people honestly cant be trusted with. You'd go in and play and be like, jeez I dont prefer these settings, and spend more time finding a match than actually playing since theres no indication as to what settings are, and arent there. Half of the things your suggesting being able to turn off make the game what it is [endorsements, juice, bullseye, hazards.]Those things make MNC, positioning, and just overall how your playing your class change drastically. However, In terms of private matches I dont think that would be a problem in any way.

I think that's Reltsirk's condescending way of saying that he approves :D

Thats my way of trying to avoid talking about TF2 in MNC forums. The Class Limit option that was given drove the stake in the game more than it helped. It just goes to show you cant trust public games with these kinds of options or they will get abused. The host does not like facing class A. It is locked. The host doesnt like option B. It is turned off. This stops players from actually playing the game.

I love your mentality. Everybody should be forced to play your way, right? Anybody who disagrees should, as you like to put it, "Deal with it." God forbid people who pay money for dedicated servers and set them up the way the way they want to play the game. Crazy thing is, you have the option of never joining the game or leaving. I know, right?

OP never specified if this was for public or private games. I think most people assume custom matches means private considering most game with non-dedicated servers do not give people the option of making custom public games.

Thats why I said, private matches wouldnt be a problem. Changing the core gameplay makes no sense. If you want to try turning this into a flame thread again and make your point that much less valid by all means.

Nobodys forcing anyone to do anything, that makes 0 sense. Also if your hinting this game has dedicated servers...lol. Otherwise that statement makes no sense either. If you dont like the core gameplay mechanics dont play the game.PC usually mods the heck out of things but this isnt the PC is it? If you dont like brawl, play melee. If you dont like WoW, find another mmo you like. Suggestions/feedback are great and make the game better, but being unreasonable about them and not looking at other examples of things gone wrong in other scenarios shouldnt go unchecked. I already stated this would be a good idea for private matches and mentioned the chaos of the game if the public got a hold of it. Not to mention the modders out there who got a hold of the option could bring it to the public as small as the chances of that probably are. Things on release always have suggestions and problems and the devs actually check them so if your asking for your opinion to be noticed by trolling your really not doing a good job are you?

If you want to keep trolling and ruin another thread you can keep going, otherwise have fun not contributing to the thread and what its actually about. If you actually have a legit response about the community being trusted to change the options by all means say something about it. Paying money to set up dedicated servers makes no sense in any way since you cant do that. Think before you post. Until you have something ON topic to actually say, you can talk to yourself.

No kidding, I realize in your own world you wish you could force your own ideas but rather you come to the Wishlist sub-forum and try to belittle people's ideas in your own egotistical, condescending ways. Pardon me if you can't handle my abrasive attitude towards your negativity.

I love MNC and even if they didn't change anything i'd still play it. I don't understand the babbling about the other games you suggest in no way am I bashing this game. In your own world comparing this game to a predominantly played PC game might of made sense and somehow getting out of my post that I was asking for dedicated servers when i'm simply responding to your opinion about TF2's dedicated servers gave you a false pretense that your response made sense.

If my responses to your opinions frustrate you in anyway you have the option of not replying.

Be nice and happy posting! :D

    Sorry.

Like I said i'm surprised there wasn't any customizable settings in private games..we should at least have the basics..which most of the stuff you said. We could also have the ability to:

    -Change juice cost
    -Change bot cost
-Mute option for Mickey Cantor's voice
    -Change bot wave difficulty
    -Free play
    -Change party leader

The only time I ever do private matches is to goof around because matchmaking is where it's at, so free play would be cool and really the only thing that might interest me.

Just the ability to turn bots and time limit off so you can test things out on different maps.

Edit: I guess the Micky Cantor mute would just be something under the options menu and I think the devs stated they won't be doing this.

Yeah, but not a "mode" per se. Just the options to turn bots off and have unlimited time.

 Add in free juice and (ridiculous amount) starting cash from the other options.

First off before they add any custom match options they need to fix private matches. The host can't stop the start timer, players can't change teams, can't choose the map.

Reltsirk does make some very valid points. Take a look at Gears of War 2. You have the option to "swap weapons." It started off good but then certain weapons started to not be there anymore. Another situation is that they place the power weapons as close to spawn as possible. Sure you don't have to stay and play but it is extremely annoying to keep leaving a game when all I am looking for is a regular room. Public Custom matches don't work with games that automatically put you into a match.

As for the list PlumbumTheEpic posted sorry to say but most of them would defeat the whole purpose of Crossfire. I think it's safe to say you want certain options so you can play a Deathmatch game type which MNC isn't about.
