From a steam conversation. To reproduce: Start a 1 player lan crossfire match and have two custom support classes, one with rate of fire gold, one without. Start as one, see the shotgun fire. Kill yourself and switch to the other, see that the endorsements don't change and the shotgun fires at the same speed. This will be good to demonstrate with any other single shot weapon, but I play a lot of support so that's how I tested it.
Just wanted to bring this back from the dead to ask if it's intended, if anyone else has noticed it, if there's any plans to fix it, and if there's a workaround that doesn't involve spawning as a different class then jumping off a cliff.
Just bumping this up again for a response from anybody. I'm not sure if that was something intentionally put in post-beta so that people couldn't run armor early game and then change to something else when they got their passives and such, or it's just a bug that cropped up and nobody has really noticed yet.
All I really want to know right now is if this is intended, and if not if it's a known bug that there are plans to fix. An answer from anybody will do if this issue has already risen up somewhere else.
