Current thoughts sense the start....

Well unlike many, I didn't join in till about a month after the kickstarter ended (missed it) but I did and sense then it's been an interesting ride. From the price change arguments to in game design, I am amazed at how UBER has kept their professionalism and foot down like a good parent saying "that's a great idea!" or "No! That will NEVER happen!".

To the topic at hand however, I just wanted to say I recently installed PA again and gave the latest build a whirl many times. I am very impressed where it is at this point, I found myself being lost in time playing the game like the older days when I first got TA.

I really have a sense this game is finding it's mark and it seems to me that UBER along with many suggestions by the community have brought this ambitious game further then I ever thought possible. Do you read a bit of skeptical thoughts there? Yeah, you probably do... While I love the team that makes up UBER (as a past fan of other titles many have been involved in) I found many comments from previous relationships with member's of the UBER team (too whom I actually looked up to as a developer) that questioned such a bold product on a tight budget would even be possible.

Well it has come clear that indeed it can be possible, I have no doubt that steam sales and a small stream of funds from related sales has helped, but from what I have seen UBER is definitely putting their "money where their mouth is" in a way. From the planetary generator too Satalite options and more, I can't even begin too impress how much I enjoy the game at this point. With thoughts now in my head of all the planet types possible bio domes and other final additions, I really can't wait to see the final product in all it's glory.

Bravo to you UBER, you should be proud where this game is at this point. Are there issues? of course, but is the game fun to many at the moment? I know it's a blast for me and those I convince to try it out in it's current state then agree , I see only positive things for this title.

Anyways, I wanted to get this internet letter to the team and express my joy at something they toil over day after day. For at least I am a fan that has convinced others now is the time to buy and have some fun! For the end is close and all I can think is... "Hmmm where will my next moon go?!".
