Basically the same exact concept as crossfire, except the bots remove the shields and you grab the flag (it could be a moneyball) and run to your own area. After the shields drop, there is a 30 second period before shields restore unless the flag is grabbed. The flag runner cannot use abilities or weapons without dropping it first. Flags return after being returned by staying near it or automatically after 30 seconds (Halo style). First to 1 wins, or unlimited score with a time limit? Overtime could be hectic. Anyway, I think this could be another fun potential game type.
This has been suggested many times. IMO, it's too similar to Crossfire to be worth implementing. You still have to escort bots, you still have to destroy turrets, etc. It's not different enough to warrant implementing. That's just my two cents.
i wouldnt say that the 1st focus is the bots yes but once that ball were to be grabbed without team work and good team work @ that.... rambo's and the like would cop a savage beating i acctually like this idea.... hell maybe even just lose the bots for this and have a few more defensive posi's make it a pure player v player game type im just biased cuz i love CTF on any game
To even make this a little reversable for the other team youd have the flag runner go slow ( doesnt affect classes like the tank any more than it would affect an assult ) and not able to get to high ground.
CTF is one of my favs. I love it on any shooters. I think it is the most intense and I have the most fun playing it, although with how crossfire is now there is already an objective on each side. Kill the moneyball. So I think there are other things that would be worth more to do. Like a Free-For-All or Team Deathmatch or perhaps an Odd-Ball type match where winning team has to hold onto the moneyball for a certain ammount of time.
