I have been thinking and i think that Gold crit gives you a 5% chance of crits if i remember. This means that logically 1/20 shots will activate your crits for 1 second. This buffed with the gunner/ assault crits(Don't know the exact numbers) would be around 1/10 shots activates crits. This means that af full clip of the ar should at least crit twice and the gunners minis should crit a lot. So in theory crits arn't so random for these pro's and would buff the damage dealt quite a bit. Correct me if i am mistaken but doesn't the crit multiplyer given make Gold crits a viable option? Footnote- crits = 1 second of critical shots
Gambler's fallacy. Each shot gets rolled individually, so it can vary wildly between near-constant crits and rather rare ones. Gold Crits, Silver Armour and Bronze ROF/Clip are excellent for a Deploy-heavy Gunner. The Assault needs Armour and ROF. Xeno used to run Bronze Crits, IIRC.
i run crit armor accuracy on my primary gunner build. crits is a good choice if you want to trade a little dps in for less frequent reloads. it also strongly effects the gunner deploy.
Purple bullets, Purple bullets everywhere. Numbers is right. Gold Crit makes me start screaming for people to increase the amount of tears they produce.
the only crits you can control are shruikens with level 3 cloak and when you juice everything else is randy
One thing people don't normally consider when using crits is that their crit damage is increased. According to the wiki, each endorsed crit bullet will do more damage depending on what endorsements are used. I think that a crit heavy class like the assault could use a high crit endorsement.
the problem with crits is that it doesnt help the AR as much as RoF and it does almost nothing for the GL.
