I picked the game up a while back and every time I start the game up the game window appears, I see the gamma disclaimer, and hear a hum but then immediately I get the notice that PA has stopped responding and I'm unable to click on 'Accept'. I've linked my account here with my steam account, is there something that I've not done correctly? This is on ubuntu 13.10 with a recent nvidia driver.
I don't know if that's the same issue. I'm using gnome shell and not compiz and the ui wasn't black and white it was just unresponsive. Today though I was able to click on the accept button and get past the disclaimer. So I'm not sure what changed but whatever it was it worked.
