Hello, i have bought the game like 3-4 weeks ago now and I enjoyed it. I played some games against bots, some against other players when they hosted aswell when i have hosted the game. It worked wonderfull, i started it through steam and got logged in by default. But since a ~week the game can't log me in anymore. I recieve a error message saying: Error connecting to UberNet: Could not resolve host: (nil) I haven't changed anything with my Firewalls (Commodo) nor at my router settings since the last playable time. I also tried some other hints in this forum like traceroute and they all seemed to work as they should. I also have disabled literally EVERY firewall i have but still got no luck with that. I let steam verify the integrity of the files with a positive result, everything was ok. I don't have a single clue what i could check or do anymore, so i hope someone of you has some suggestions for me. EDIT: Attached newest Logfile.
First I recommend try to run "ping uberent.com" and check if you see DNS error that command can't find this hostname. If there is such error then problem most likely related to network configuration and can be caused by your internet service provider. If there is no error about hostname (no ping is fine) then it's most likely firewall issue. It's doesn't mean firewall didn't decide to change something without asking you. Unfortunately only way to disable not integrated firewall/anti-viruses on windows it's removal. It's doesn't mater it's say "disabled" because it's still can affect networking. So best way to check firewall/anti-virus issues it's remove it, restart PC, then check if it's working or not.
Ping-Statistik für 54.241.9.230: Pakete: Gesendet = 4, Empfangen = 0, Verloren = 4 (100% Verlust), I guess that means ISP is okay and i have to find and fix my firewall settings.
No ping it's excepted behavior so most likely it is firewall issue. Also other good way to such issues it's run game any other PC that connected to same network.
I have fixed it: Comodo Internet Security got a feature called "Sandbox", it runs a program in an virtual enviroment with limited access i guess. For some reason, Comodo decided not to add PA to it's "trusted" list, although it has been there before (probably because of patched version). Firewall and so on had no impact on it, it was simply because of the virtualization. So for others that could have the same problems: Check if you have any kind of Sandbox/Virtualization Software running and disable it. If it works, try to add the according files to the "trusted" list.
