I converted my Uber Key to a Steam Key. How do you put the key into steam and play it? Simple question, just need to know!
In left bottom corner of Steam window click "Add a game..." then "Activate a Product on Steam..." Also after you play game though Steam once you'll able to use standalone launcher again.
Hmmm I just did it and it gave an error. Do you know why this would happen? Im pretty sure my computer has all the requirments, but it just gives me this when I try and run it. Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: pa.exe Application Version: 0.0.0.0 Application Timestamp: 53233483 Fault Module Name: pa.exe Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 53233483 Exception Code: 80000003 Exception Offset: 000000000028ade1 OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: b06a Additional Information 2: b06a0252165f243f08502861dcdae32c Additional Information 3: 42bd Additional Information 4: 42bdd953740471a45431cc128822f668
Did game worked without Steam? Anyway check my signature and upload your DxDiag.txt so I can check what's might be wrong.
Steam gives me that, right after a black page and a pa.exe has stopped working. my DxDiag.txt is this:
According to DxDiag info you only have onboard (integrated on motherboard) graphics card: Unfortunately it's don't have features game require and game won't work on it. Though your OS is really outdated and system information messes up. Any chance this is incorrect info?
It is correct, is it possible to update it? Or how would I get it to work, buy a new whatever... e.e Im not a computer person except for games.
Unfortunately your DxDiag missing some important bits: Code: System Manufacturer: n/a System Model: n/a BIOS: n/a Processor: n/a (2 CPUs) So I don't even know if you have laptop or desktop PC. Any info on that? If it's desktop you should able to get proper discrete graphics card as well as power supply unit and game will work.
While you're working on the specs to get the game running, I just wanted to add that you'll also need to link your Steam account to your UberNet account. You can do that here: https://uberent.com/user/linkedsteamaccount
Then you need to check what hardware you have. If you actually don't have graphics card you need to buy one and possible replace your PSU if required. I can't say what exactly graphics card you need because it's depends on what you can afford, but I recommend to stick to this: It's should be Nvidia GPU. It's need to have at least 1GB GDDR5 (! ) Though if you can afford something like $120+ then you need 2GB GDDR5. For example Nvidia GTX 750 Ti 2GB should work good. But again keep in mind if you have desktop without discrete graphics card it's most likely have extremely cheap PSU (like 300 watt) so you will obviously need to get new power supply too. PS: If you want to play big battles it's also can be useful to get more RAM: Code: Memory: 4096MB RAM Available OS Memory: 4060MB RAM
How would I see what hardware I have. I'm pretty sure I have a graphics card... but I could find out how?
It's should be in PCI Express slot and your monitor have to be connected to this graphics card and not your motherboard.
Unfortunately I can't help you ther because it's depends on hardware you have. E.g you'll need to open your PC case to check that. You might find lot of how-to's about that in Google and on YouTube there is tons of tutorials how you can check that stuff. Or you can ask some tech savvy guy who can help you.
If you don't have graphics card and you don't want to buy one game won't work. This won't be fixed with updates.
Ok thanks for all your help but could you just explain to me why I would need all of that? If I have a graphics card why need a new one and why a new power supply? Thanks soooo much again
