How many control points did you want again? ;^)

Don't seem to be able to get rid of original five though. And as with all features, placement control is extremely limited.

On the upside, the firing condition seems to be "all control points", so you could make the laser harder to fire if you didn't mind the extra points being placed haphazardly.

This is a server/biome mod though rather than just a map, right?

    Yes, there is that.

Meanwhile: if you put control points on random planets, you can select a target but it doesn't fire.

Any unit with activates_control_point will do, but has to be built pretty close a particular point.

CamelCase/under_score are interchangeable, and both variants are used with the control point/module.

Arbitrary feature types are ignored. Burnable appears to be free (and doesn't interact with burnable features that I can tell), and Reclaimable could be free with a modded metal_splat_02. Thats two types that could conceivably be used for mods without disturbing existing systems.

The option to turn off metal spot icons actually turns off all feature icons.

Multiple feature_requirements on a unit function as OR. Does not appear to support the boolean operators of unit types.

Any feature can have show_strategic_icon. Specific icons can be provided in the same was as units (provide an icon file and an icon_atlas mod)

I tried turning icons on for base_burnable and loading a heavily forested planet. I... think I broke something.

Previously, I believed that destroying a feature removed the icon, but reclaiming it did not. On a tiny planet, com landing and reclaiming removed the icon on exactly half the planet.
