Connection to the host failed. You cannot join the game sess

any one else get this any time they are invited to a game?
Otherwise I can play fine, but if someone wants to play with me, or if I want to join a friends game, I get this.

In short, if that wasn't clear;

I can play the game with people I don't know, while I cannot play the game with people that I want to play with

This drives this game from a solid 8 to a 6 for me and would appreciate some help

It may mean that the game you are trying to join is full. It's also possible for the game to not be full when you try to join but the game fills up after you press connect.

Not at all. My friend started a private match just for him and myself and I couldnt connect

also, a casual glance at how the lobby system works would show you that you can't invite more people than the room can hold
