connecting to ubernet

when i launch PA all it will say is connecting to ubernet. I am using steam. I would greatly request some advice on why i will not connect.

Kinda difficult to help you with so little information.

First, verify your internet is working.

Also, try using the non steam version.

Are you using Mac or Linux? There's a known issue that they're working on for Mac and I'm pretty sure it applies to Linux too.

I'm also having trouble logging in through steam (didn't try standalone) after a lot of waiting it told me my steam ticket(?) was invalid and to restart steam but that hasn't helped.

Actually yeah logging in with ubernet credentials works just fine.

Yep have troubles as well.
Steam.
Clean profile.
No mods.
Nothing helps.

im having the same problem, as when its trying to initially log into ubernet on the pa front screen, it just gets stuck on the logging in sign.

my internet is working fine, and i'm also using the steam version so i don't think i can use the non steam version.

any idea what to do?

Of course there's no way to cancel the initial steam log in so you have to wait for it to timeout D: (edit: okay apparently escape will do it)

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

I really want to know because I was an alpha player. I payed 70 dollars for this game I can't even play now. Maybe it was because I stopped playing for a while. This is an alienware laptop mx14 r2 and using windows 7. My internet works just fine.

Don't worry, they're probably working on it.
And also if you really want to play right now, I found out that if you wait long enough, and it tells you that your steam-ticket is invalid, that you then can try to log in again and then it works.

Are the accounts properly linked together? Sometimes they become unlinked. You can re-link your accounts here:

This worked! I am assuming how they become unlinked is if you change your steam name multiple times.

Oh, ya know, I don't know! I'll see if I can have someone look into it.

I didn't change my steam name, though.
I think it might have something to do with the newest build, because this was the first time that I tried logging into it.

Fixed it

The page doesn't seem to think I've unlinked, and logging in again with steam doesn't seem to fix the problem.

There have been some problems connecting to Steam today. When this happens, the game should eventually prompt you to log in with your UberNet credentials instead of with your Steam account. Please let me know if you're experiencing different behavior or if you're having trouble connecting with the non-Steam launcher.
