Commanders stuck in space

    I recently played a game on a custom map with a planet pretty close to the sun, and whenever I sent a commander or fabber there, they just infinitely looped around the sun, getting close to the planet but never arriving there.

    Well, I would but I didn't make the game. Anyway, it is sort of a game breaking bug, seeing as how I lost everything but still technically won the game (which never ended since one of the enemy's and one of my commanders were still alive).

    I've had this exact problem in the past, it completely breaks the entire game you HAVE to restart..... Its happened to me with Asteroids/moons when trying to crash them into planets, they just get stuck in space and just stay in an orbit around something or in the original spot even with the correct # of haileys.. There was no fix I could find for me, just a game reset.. it seemd random, sometimes would do it, sometimes wouldn't.....

    Planets too close to the sun is a known bug. We've been dealing with this one for some time.

    Just don't play on systems where there is a planet close to the sun.

    I think it should be considered a feature rather than a bug.

    In reality if you got that close you would get stuck in the suns orbit.

    Then the planets should be placeable that close to the sun.

    Well.... you should be able to Halley the planet away, eventually.

    Not all planets will be moveable. And building halleys are kinda a moot point if you can't get to the planet.

    One way or another this shouldn't be a feature. It's game braking, and frustrating no point.

    First off, we should be able to change move commands for units that are planet hopping.

    Second, this orbiting issue should be fixed or planets shouldn't be placeable so close to the sun. One or the other.

    If you spawned on the planet. . Otherwise you would be invincible.

    Flight paths need to be tweaked a bit... makes no sense to be constantly slingshotting around objects when it doesn't need to happen.

    Remember that one Realm game? I think games like that should be possible. But sensible.

    I do agree that orbital units should be able to have their flight paths readjusted.
