Hi all, Is it possible to join an MNC server via the command line? I'm using steam, so in my case, I have to go through the steam games library, then "SET LAUNCH OPTIONS..." for MNC. I have tried "open 1.2.3.4" (1.2.3.4 can be any server IP), but instead I just get an error message stating "The map specified on the commandline 'open' could not be found. Would you like to load the default map instead?". Typing "open 1.2.3.4" in the game's console allows me to join a server. Thanks!
Try 'join 1.2.3.4' without the apostrophes, and open is used for maps and I guess joining servers while playing, but when it's not launched it might mess up the command.
Hi Espiodude2, Thanks for the help! That particular command didn't work through the steam advanced options, but after some more tinkering, I was able to find a commandline that does: "1.2.3.4 7777" (with quotes, where '7777' is the join port) Hopefully someone else will find this useful.
Can't join a full server through the in-game browser, and steam's game info dialog just lets you try autojoining. I have yet to find a way to use the VIP feature other than this: "ServerTravel <IP>" in console Wait for sounds to start up, screen will be black. Click screen for focus. "Reconnect" in console. (You won't be able to see anything, so click for focus, open the console, and type carefully.) Somehow, this gets me into my clan's server when it's full. I'll have to give your method a try as well.
