1. Is it possible to make projectiles that explode into multiple submunitions? Is there any way to control how those submunitions act, or carry over their target from the previous projectile? 2. How does the "stages" parameter work in units? Is there any hidden logic regarding how and when units switch between stages, and what each particular stage does? Or is the duration of the stage the sole determinant? Is the duration of the stage measured in seconds or milliseconds? These are some questions I ran into while trying to make all the units I posted in the unit suggestion thread.
Cluster weapons are not currently possible. If a stage duration is 0, that means that stage happens until the projectile reaches its destination. All other stage durations are in server ticks (I believe 10 ticks per second?)
IDEA) Can you have 1 thing, fire multiple munitions at once, and make all their "stages" synchronous except for the last, and the last stage give them varying courses? Just wondering. That would be badass, like a multiple warhead ICBM.
A multiple warhead ICBM was exactly what I was thinking. Though I've also always wanted to make a tank that shoots Dox at things. That's disappointing. But thanks for the answers!
