Class Skills / Turret Information (Beta)

Subject to change:

Turret Types

• Lazer Blazer - low cost, low damage, light armor
  Rockit - high cost, high damage, heavy armor
  Long Shot - Fires long range mortar rounds

Assault

• F.l.y.- Improved thrusters will increase flight time and recharge rate
  Bomb - Increase damage and radius
  Charge Throw - Charging into players or heavy fodder will result in grapple throw

Tank

• Regen Armor - Deployed tank regenerates armor at a much higher rate
  Jet Charge Ultra - Increased damage while jet charging

Sniper

• Skill Name Here - Allows you fo fly longer and faster
  Supa Snipa - Sniper rifle gains the ability to shoot through targets

Support

• Fire Base - no exact description, but I assume it's a class-specific turret
  Support - Adds bot support aura, increased health recovery
  Air Strike - I assume a rain of missiles, leveling up Increases radius, decreases cost to use
  Hack - Increased rate of fire on hacked turrets

Assassin

• Skill Name Here - Allows you to fly longer and faster
  Outfit - Changes her dagger with a sword, and eventually eliminates fall damage

Gunner

• Deadly Force - Increase critical hit when deployed
  Slamma - Increase radius and damage of Ground Slam

There are more skills than I've listed, this is just what I've found in browsing videos.

Having played the game for a total of about 35 minutes at PAX, and playing exclusively as the Assassin, I can tell you what I know about her skills:

-Smoke bomb/EMP: The assassin drops a smoke/EMP bomb that disrupts players and bots around her, and enables her to jump CRAZY high immediately afterward.
-Cloak: Makes the assassin invisible Predator-style for a limited time.
-Speed Boost: Makes the assassin run like the wind for a limited time.
-Outfit: Upgrades dagger to sword at Level 3, and increases armor at each stage. Cannot confirm or deny the fall damage, though.


Absolutely cannot wait for this game.

Some of the skills may have changed names since the filming of that video.

Yeah we know, Feel free to correct any names or effects that are wrong.

I was thinking of starting a thread like this but because of the "Skill Name Here" glitch and lack of game play vids (Most of the vids are just the same game play in a different order) I thought I should wait till more info came up.

Laser Blaster $25

• 
  Laser Blaster is a fast fire, low damage turret guaranteed to shred fodder fast!

Long Shot Turret $75

• 
  Long Shot Turrets fire long range mortar rounds to take out bots before they get to you.

Rock-IT Turret $200

• 
  Rock-IT Turrets are made for laying waste to large groups of bots in a single shot.

All skills costs $150 to buy lvl2 and $400 to buy lvl3

Assault
Y Skill

• L1 - F.L.Y 1.0 (A personal jet-pack that can allow you to fly for a limited amount of time.)
  L2 - F.L.Y 1.5 (+Fly time -Recharge time)
  L3 - F.L.Y 2.0 (++Fly time --Recharge time)

X Skill

• L1 - ? (A thrown remote detonation grenade that can stick to objects and enemies.)
  L2 - XPLO-C13 (+Damage +Radius)
  L3 - ? (++Damage ++Radius)

B Skill

• L1 - Charge (Charge forward with a sudden burst of speed, Damaging any enemies in your way.)
  L2 - Super Charge (+Damage)
  L3 - Charge Throw (++Damage +Grapple on players and heavy fodder)

Passive Skill

• L1 - ?
  L2 - High Tech Gear (+Jump height +Critical hits)
  L3 - ? (++Jump height ++Critical hits)

I always thought there was 4 turrets, am I wrong??? or do we not know what the other turret is??

There are 4 types of turrets.

There is a ShaveIce Turret. Could this be the one you be thinking of?

Firebase

But...but the "Assault" is the one who uses Firebase.

Uses Firebase? I don't understand.

Thats not baiting - it's just not giving the goods up without the proper homework being done by the class

Smitty has said the Support has the Firebase skill, yet I recently watched a video where the Assault has the Firebase skill too. What gives?

Probably a glitch, Firebase is the supports deployable turret.

Assault has Charge, FLY and grenade.

Then what's his fourth skill?
