Also, I voted Gunner. Edit: Please go back and Capitalize Assassin. Isn't it weird that when you try to type 'Capitalize', you naturally Capitalize it? WTF?!
I voted for assassin. It seems a lot more of the skilled players have acquired a taste for assassin when it comes to really wanting to win clutch style. A good assassin can easily flip-flop an entire match. Not only is the job underrated (mostly because in PUBs they are never used to their proper and most beneficial role), but also because they don't even get treated like other classes. CAPITALIZE THAT SHIZ!
I voted Assault. Before the DLC, I never thought the Assault was overpowered, and I didn't really hear complaints about him. Now I despise that class with every fiber of my being AND with a passion that burns with the heat of a thousand suns. And he has been voted most overpowered in the forum poll. I'm not entirely sure what changed, but many would agree that post-DLC is when the Assault started to appear as overpowered.
Assault is overpowered due to not receiving any class nerfs whatsoever while every other class had at least one huge change Support: juice rate, air strikes, huge enemy hack nerf. Assassin: damage normalized on dagger lunge, only enemy cloak being audible Gunner: damage over range nerfed Sniper: money ball damage significantly nerfed and grapple damage reduced (and map redesigns) Tank: money ball damage significantly reduced on rail gun(and map redesigns) The nerfs made the assault the top moneyball killer by a significant margin, and that's before factoring bomb's damage. He is in a good Place right now on the pc, but is kinda insane on xbox.
I voted support, not just cuz I play support, but because he got the most nerfage ON TOP of the nerfing he received from the prior update. Honestly, its a toss-up between the support and the sniper. Doesn't hafta be a matter of opinion, just read what the update changed. I cant stand snipers, but I gotta say, they took a heavy shafting from Spunky as well.
The assault isn't exactly overpowered, it's just the fact that the gunner was one of its counters and it got its range nerfed. The only other clear-cut counter is the tank, and there are like 2 that can actually outplay a decent assault in a fight. Also the fact that the assault rifle now benefits from lag, and most classes (assassin, sniper, and tank) are negatively affected by this. This is why it's more balanced on PC. Less lag, better snipers and tanks due to easier aim, and not an overly nerfed gunner. IMO, Keep the gunner's range the same, but slightly increase the damage outside of ideal range. Make it so the bomb doesn't recharge until after it's blown up. Normalize the support's airstrike. Then it should be more balanced.
