So in the recent update (52973) the lines that units used to form have come back? Or is this nothing? I didn't feel like this needed a bug report on the tracker, because it is already on there?
I think this is a result of units passing through a chokepoint. I would expect they go back to their standard flocking behaviour if you let them group up and move them out again.
