EDIT: I know this has been posted but I'd rather not necro a thread from a month ago. Some issues from it have been corrected (i.e. typing when dead) A few things I've noticed that are tremendously annoying and while not game breaking, would be nice if they could be addressed. 1. When chatting in pre-game when teams get sorted, chat gets 'deselected'. There is hardly enough time to socialize at all anyway in pre-game, making typing anything more than a few words extremely annoying. This lil quirk had quickly become my number one bane. 2. Why oh WHY do I have to hit escape three times when backing out of chat. Once to close the chat box, once to clear the terminal line, and once to close the terminal. If I wanted to type something into terminal. I would open the terminal. One more deterrent from ever using chat in a game where communication is scarce enough IMHO. And gods forbid I spam 'ESC' once to many then I have to close out the Menu/exit screen as well. 3. I've had some issues when trying to chat while the skill/turret purchasing screens are open. Not issues trying to chat but once I back out and I go to select the bottom skill, Skill '4'. It purchases the top skill, skill '2'. I commonly play sniper/sin so it is mainly right out of the gate Even more annoying when I go to buy a shavice and get a LB. (FUUUUUUUU!) I'd love to be able to quickly send a little be more than a simple gg without having issues like this. I realize chat is a new addition to a game not made originally for PC. A few quirks like this getting fixed would be excellent. Thanks though for this great game. Don't mean to sound ungrateful.
