I've about had enough of Assaults and Tanks charging me into oblivion because I flew in some random direction that defies all known and unknown laws of physics. Please refer to the completely unnecessary demonstration below. A = Assault M = Me [Edge of Arena] A______M Now by this diagram you can see that the Assault is standing near the edge, looking at me. I am within charge distance. [Edge of Arena]A------>M The Assault has now charged me. M [Edge of Arena]______A What the hell is this? Why do you somehow fly over the Assault and get rung out? Why don't you fly opposite the direction of the charge? As in... [Edge of Arena] A------>M [Edge of Arena]________A_______M Why doesn't this^ happen? I think it's incredibly stupid that you can fly in any random direction, as if the charge itself isn't stupid enough.
I've had it happen to me a few times that when I jump and the charge hits me, I go straight up in the air and land back where I started :shock:
I find the snipers grapple just as bad. I know it's my own fault for getting caught but when lag dictates my back grapple is a face grapple, countered by a crazy throw direction... :evil:
It is rather frustrating.... I have had it happen with every class. Typically it is because I jump, and then I get charged. I kind of "bounce" of the pro, and that sends me in a random direction.
