If I change my locale from u.k to u.s can I download games from the u.s marketplace? if I can and change my locale back to u.k will I still be able to play them and will it cause any problems for my profile?
Well I don't know about switching your locale but I do have a Japanese account I use to download Arcade games.
This. I made a Japanese account out of boredom a few months back and tried a few demos(including several Japan-only ones that were in English lol). Not sure if changing the locale on your console will have any effect on anything(you may need some way to fake your IP address to XBL while using the foreign account: some things appeared that I couldn't download due to region restrictions), but it's worth a shot if you have a foreign account to go with the different locale. I believe in April they're also undoing the BS of point card codes being region-specific as well. Just don't expect it to be retroactive: if you buy or activate a points code before the dashboard update I'd just about lay money it won't be retroactive >.>
