It's doesn't really matter where you bought the game. As long as your Uber account linked to Steam one you can run game without Steam using that account in launcher. Usually account linking done first time when you run game on Steam so it's let you login (and link to that Uber account) or register new Uber account. Or this may be done manually using that page: https://uberent.com/user/linksteam
Yes, but it will be a separate set of files maintained by the UberLauncher. PTE is a another copy yet. The files are all the same so it's possible to copy between them to cut down on the initial download (except I've never had success copying into steam, it does it's own thing) I can elaborate on paths if there is interest. No matter how you installed the game, you can just go to the files and run PA directly (or likely make a shortcut)
