Celestial view and system editor in 3D?

So I was just wandering if the celestial view and system editor will ever be changed over to be 3D instead of 2D, I know it was mentioned a while back that they have it running in 3D but convert it over to 2D or something.

it totally has to come in, the devs have it in 3D.

It is in full 3D, but the planets are still arranged on a flat 2D plane.

Actually it's fully 3D, but without no Z axis.

Oookay, so maybe I should ask, when will the celestial view and system editor appear in 3D for us?

can we currntly rotate the celecstial view like the devs? I haven't found out how to do it.
