Capturing/streaming using DXtory on PA (Steam Edition)

Has anyone managed this successfully? I tried but DXtory was unable to 'detect' PA.

And yes, I disabled the Steam overlay!

I've had success with OBS in the past, but never tried DXTory

Dxtory doesn't work with PA yet. There is a difference between Fraps and Dxtory where Dxtory uses a different detection method and thus it is not supported.

I use Bandicam with the Lagarith Lossless codec, it works well.

@masterofroflness do you mean 'play with game settings' or dxtory settings?

I use Dxtory and It actually works on PA. Try to tinker with your settings a bit.
