I just opened up PA and I saw this! So many lobbies to join! But when I want to join one, nothing happens, then (after 2-3 minutes) it says "Failed to join lobby". It makes it impossible to play multiplayer for me, which is...well, unfortunate. I think I've written something about this a while ago (maybe shortly after release) and the bug (?) is still there. Joining worked pretty fine before release, but now it hinders me from playing PA MP.
Are you able to create a MP game / people able to join yours ? Are you using some kind of firewall ? Can you try to disable it temporary ?
If you didn't already vote for developer attention on the tracker: PA#4049. And then just use the Faster Server Browser Mod as a workaround. Really no need to create another thread (just more mess for the moderators to clean up & repost the same info over again).
Yes and no. I tried with and without, and: I can't create (online lobbies) I can't see*/join other lobbies sometimes the "Connecting to PlayFab" takes quite a long time/never finishes Edit: Now I tried again without mods and with the Steam Client and it seems to work...after it didn't work for the past weeks. Edit Edit: Sometimes, it still takes a really long time to load the lobby list.
The Faster Server Browser mod has been euthanised and is no longer available. @masterdigital please see the discussion: https://forums.uberent.com/threads/rip-faster-server-browser-mod.63947/page-3#post-1017489
Okay, it's ridiculous. Loading lobbies in the browser takes 30+ seconds, I can't join a game (good ol' useless Join button) and creating a lobby will go into an eternal loading screen. Ehhhhhhh.
Just a quick update: I think it's actually fixed now...loading Browser took like 2 seconds and joining the Lobby didn't took long either. Really nice, Uber!
I get this sporadically. No mods. I haven't seen it recently though so maybe it's fixed? I still sometimes get "failed to join" a game that is apparently there and open (and still there when I get back from the kick to the main menu) but I haven't seen the "sit, wait and do nothing and then fail to join later" problem in a few days, at least.
