my WASD buttons will not make my character move. I have tried switching the buttons and still no luck.

This has also been doing this with my copy of Unreal Tournament, anybody shed some light on this issue? As i have NO IDEA why it is doing this.

Do you have a gamepad plugged in? If you do try starting the game with it unplugged.

Pretty sure the problem is on your side, I googled around for problems in ut about moving and most of the problems are fixed with updating the game and/or delete the config.
However, since this game has a new config and doesn't has an update it wont work :p

Have you ever tried installing a driver for your keyboard? Like when you have a logitech keyboard you can install a driver for logitech.
You can also try changing your keyboard language.

    Edit:
Some more usefull stuff. I read that one has the same problem as you and his mouse is causing the problem. Update your mouse drivers and if that does not work try a other mouse as a temporary solution, if that doesn't works try changing your keyboard. Or just do both :)
    Edit2:
If none of the above works, be sure you really tried it instead of just going like not working bla bla.
Anyway if none of the above works, do the standard stuff that probably wont work.
    Get rid of viruses.
Disable processes running on the background.
    Update video driver.
    Update audio driver.
    Update keyboard/mouse driver.
Update bios (not recommended!!! Backup your bios before you do this, if it fails and you dont have a backup your f***ed.)
Disable your firewall/virus scanner, maybe your firewall or virus scanner is blocking access to the application causing the keyboard/mouse not connecting or whatever?

I suggest you start with the easiest ones :D
Like changing the keyboard language, for example from dutch to US.
    Or changing keyboard/mouse.
Or disable your virus scanner/firewall, for example, the comodo firewall is a very powerfull one and will block almost everything without you knowing it, because of that it can cause lots of problems.
    Just narrow the possibility's down.
