hello im aqmery, i have a problem with loading a solar system, when i create my own solar system i cant load it in a game i have tryed to create huge solar systems with 40+ planets, but also solar systems with 3 planets won't load is this a bug or am i doing somting wrong? tnx in advance aqmery
also 5-6 planets yeah .. But 40 planets.. NOOOOOOOOO each small planet uses at least 400-500mb of ram, 40x that = wow. virtual memory overload. a 1200 raduis planet uses around 1.2gb-4gb ram depending on the amount of features (mountains, canyons, cracks in the ground). Try starting with 1 or 2 planets.
There is also a hard limit of no more than 16 planets in a game at the moment. There is a hard tech limit on that currently. But start small - try a couple custom smaller systems - 2 to 4 planets, and keep them reasonably sized - 1000 or smaller, and start with that. Then work your way up to see what your client can handle.
