I have been playing in galactic war and I recently had an issue where the AI ran away from my planet, stranding me there without the tech to launch a meaningful assault on the moon he ran to. I simply did not have the tech to blast away his forces or smash another moon into his. So I tried swarming him with builders in the hopes of landing so many at the same time that I would be able to get them past his orbital defenses and build teleportation gateways and new factories. Long story short, I got 300 landers built and 300 builder vehicles built. I swarmed him and started trying to land them. When they got to them moon, no matter what I tried the game would not let me drop off even a single builder. I tried doing one at a time, doing them all at once etc etc. I was in completely open space near as I could tell, but the game simply would not let me land the builders. I tried this a few more times with the same result. Is this a bug or is there some mechanic that would prevent me from landing on a moon? I don't know. Needless to say it was frustrating and 7 hours later I gave up. Help please?
Heh. I think this is the second or third post with that exact same title, and even more with variations of that title. This is a major issue, especially since the Galactic War gives us limited tech. Large groups of Astrauses have to line themselves up into neat little rows, and then move down all as one group. While some landers are in position and ready to drop, they're waiting for the others to line up in formation. While they're moving into their pretty lines, they are getting torn apart by Avengers and Umbrellas. And sometimes, like what you're running into, they don't move down because they run into issues with the terrain and whatnot. While this is a step forward from the teleport down brokenness of the previous Astraeus mechanic, there's still improvement to be done. I really hope Uber fixes it soon.
