    I navigate to the appropriate page on the Ubernet store, but every time I click on the DMG file or the TAR to download it, I get the following message (I would post a link/picture but it says I can't because I'm a new user):

    Code:
    <Error>
            <Code>AccessDenied</Code>
            <Message>Access Denied</Message>
    </Error>
    ...Whereas the Windows .exe downloads fine, but I can't use that because I'm on OS 10.9. Am I missing something here? I'd prefer not to convert the key to Steam.

    Most likely you met this problem: PA#1340
    It's might be caused if you have any kind of proxy which add "X-Forwarded-For" to your HTTP headers.

    Can you try to open this URL:
    http://www.leaky.org/ip_tester.pl
    Do you have "HTTP_X_FORWARDED_SERVER" or just second IP in output?

    So I seem to be getting the same error when I try and download (from a mobile connection).

    Probably worth noting that my HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR is a private address (10.51.155.110)

    It's strange, ubermaugustine posted on bugtracker that they're changed something here.

    I'll test it with HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR soon probably.

    Well this is coming from the company that decided it would be sensible to send your mobile number in headers (I tried to put a link in here - but apparently as a new user I can post "0" urls) so who knows what else they're up to...

    Anyway if you need anything else from me to help with tracking down the problem let me know.

    Also I just tried to fake "X-Forwarded-For" header and it's still download file just fine.

    It's looks that problem is somewhere else. Do you have any idea if you have anything else non-standard in your internet connection? What browser you using? Did you tried it with other one?

    Changing the browser / user agent doesn't seem to have any effect.

    The connection will be going through a transparent proxy - which, as I mentioned earlier, means they could be doing absolutely anything to the request.

    I suspect the problem would be easiest to diagnose server side, if you want my IP to help filter the logs I can send it.

    I'm not developer, so I have no idea what else you can check.

    Probably you should create new ticket at Uber support:
    http://support.uberent.com/open.php
    Don't forget to add here your IP and link to this topic.
