Just started a match with a friend, created some planets for annihilation.

Set some planets to be movable (moons and one metal planet), the MP needs 10 Halleys.
So, i build them, but when i click the annihilate button, the kamera zooms out to the maximum distance and wont let me choose a target location.

I can switch wit the keys between the planets to zoom in, but still...not possible to target them :(

Is there a workaround for this?

Its not a bug the UI is just a bit clunky at the moment lol. On the top right hand corner, there should be a system drop down where you originally clicked to annihilate. Once you click annihilate it should zoom out to the farthest system view. Once this happens simply click that drop down again and there should be a red target icon beside the planets that you can smash into :D, just click it and it will select that planet. It should zoom on to the chosen target and ask you precisely where you want the moon to impact, select the destination much like a nuke and blast away :D. I hope I made sense, lol tried my best explaining it, not really the best teacher :p.

Wait how does your system look like? If you click the center of the red target, it should zoom you up to the planet and then let you choose a destination :/

    yeah...there is no red target^^

    sytem looks like this:

    3 planets
2 Tropicals with each one moon (starter planets)
1 Metal Planet (tried to move him)

but i found the problem now:
i build some halley on the moon, and with them i could target ANY other planet.
Just the movable metal planets was unmovable (mass of 15k, but with the halley option enabled) - the moons with a mass of 250 worked without a problem.

think there is a small bug with the "Halley option", you can set a planet as halley-compatible, but in reality it seems that they are still bound on the mass, even if it shows the annihilate option ingame.

Ah yes, they planet must have a max radius of 349, if it goes over it can not be moved or smashed with halleys, atleast as of now. Well I tried to help at least, lol, anyway enjoy your game and have fun :D.

We just had a game (7p FFA) with multi-planet spawns. The first moon annihilated ok, but the second was completely impossible. This is a bug. Not a ui issue. Actually, it might be a ui glitch.

burntcustard said that he could click ANNIHILATE, but when he zoomed out to system view, he was unable to select anything except the cancel buttons. He couldnt annihilate the planets. There was no red circle next to the planets in the menu.

Really? I haven't had anything like this, yet, and laser above only had that problem because of his planet size, :/, 5 steps forward one step back,I guess we will get there eventually.

I had the same problem. Try making planets that are small in radius (250 radius 3 halley) and try to incorporate those moons into your planet smashing.

I'm pretty sure there is something related to :

Planet you want to launch Radius < Radius of planet you want to destroy

    If

Planet you want to launch Radius > Radius of planet you want to destroy

it won't create the red circle to launch the planet.

It's dumb if you ask me. I launch any size planet I darn well please.

would be sad if it is like that :(
wanted to slam a massive planet into a smaller one, just to see what happens.

hope they change the halleys to be fully customizable, so that we can annihilate with everything we want
