I have some experimental configs but I need to know how much are you willing to sacrifice.

Question: How do you run a game in DX8?

A few have told me running TF2 is DX8 will help it run on my PC. Though if it works with MNC I would like to give it a try as well.

If i recall correctly, go on library(steam), right click, properties, set launch options, -dxlevel 8(put this on the little screen).

IDK if it works with MNC. I hope it does.

I tried the DX8 settings and it was awesome. I could play without sacrificing much.

On MNC not so much. It did help the menus move faster but an FPS test showed it remained the same.

You could also run MNC in a lower resolution. In my case, I run 640 x 480 (Standard def TV), but in return I bump up the world detail. Aliasing is horrible, but apart from that, I find it to be a worthwhile trade, in my opinion. Considering my laptop's small screen, SD doesn't look too bad.

To adjust the resolution, from the main menu press ` to get into the console, then type setres 640x480 Combined with configs, you can probably make the game playable on even integrated graphics, but it will look butt ugly as a result.

Here's a pic of med world detail + standard definition Res:

I did this, but it didn't worked.

To make sure: Computer ==> Steam ==> steamapps ==> common ==> monday night combat ==> hostile game ==> config.

I puted on the config part, but it didn't worked. D:
