Can not connect to any server...

I can't connect to any game server (I can host though). Here are my specs:
Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz
1023.2 MB RAM
Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (build 2600) OS
GeForce 8600 GT Video Card
SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio Sound Card

I'm having the same problem. Ever since the new patch, here is what happens when I try to join a server:

1) Loading screen
2) Screen goes black for a second or two
3) Loading screen again
4) Back to main menu, "Connection to Host Lost"

This has happened even when I try to join on Uber's own servers. I could join games just fine before the patch. Anyone know how to fix this?

Ok, there's a thread on the steam forums here that is about the same problem. I tried joining the connection test server listed there twice. First time I got dropped, second time I got to the lobby. Posting the log file here.



Edit: Managed to get into a game. Strangely, I joined when the moneyball was just being destroyed and the game was already over. After spawning standing around for a couple seconds we were taken back to the lobby screen, and I wasn't disconnected in the next 3-4 games I played before exiting. However, I tried joining another lobby right afterwards and got disconnected again. I'll post the new log.

Really hope the problem's been found...

Same thing has been happening to me all day. Judging by how empty the servers are I'm going to go ahead and assume that just about everyone is having the same issue.
